This domestic ham comes from farms registered with the board of the Consorzio del Prosciutto di Norcia IGP (Norcia Ham Consortium), guaranteeing that the pig from which it originates is born, bred and raised in Italy according to USL (local health facilities) regulations. A Norcia ham undergoes a maturing process that varies from 18 to 24 months and weighs not less than 8.5 Kg (average weight is 10 kg). Its flavour is neither too sweet nor too salty, making it a tasty ham that you will never tire of, the true mark of high quality pork-butchers.
